How can you tell about fading and how is it measured?

Fade is measured in hunter units most siding as of 2-3 years ago required 5-7 hunter units of fade to qualify for warranty if they had one now most of your large vinyl siding company's have switched to 3-5 hunter units to qualify you really can see fade until you get to 4 hunter units or more
