How Can I remove&replace individual pieces of hardie-lap without stripping the whole wall? 8d gal. ringshank nails used.

Answers:

From: Nikolai Andersen

there is no chance to replace individual pieces of hardie lap especially if the hardie lap is at the center of the wall as the hardie lap are inter connected. you need to remove first the hadie lap at the bottom the going up where the the siding had to be replaced. just make sure to slice the caulking first with a knife to prevent damage on hardie lap.
