actually, aluminum sidings has this called "self-cleaning feature" so paint is not meant to last long on this surface. but if you have decided to paint it anyways, you can use spray or brush or anything and put two coats of acrylic primer. choose a light colored paint so it wouldn't absorb too much heat from the sun.
