I have wood siding on my house & will be replace by stucco. Is it necessary to remove siding b4 applyin stucco

Answers:

1It really depends on the condition of the wood, but since you will be (or at least should be) placing a wire mesh foundation for your stucco on the sides of your house anyway...it shouldn't make a big difference. The only potential problem is termites invading the underlying structure...or plain old rot.
